Student Careers

At GPCC, our Curriculum Co-ordinator and Student Advisor supports students in Years 10, 11, and 12 with career planning, subject pathways, and post-school options. This includes up-to-date advice on university, TAFE, apprenticeships, and other vocational pathways.

Our Work Experience Program offers Year 10 students the chance to explore career interests and gain hands-on experience in the workplace. This program is overseen by the Year 10 Year Advisor. Students are encouraged to organise their own placements, with support and guidance from the College as needed. All students participating in Work Experience are covered by the College’s insurance.

To keep students and families informed, we regularly publish a Careers Newsletter featuring the latest opportunities, updates on tertiary institutions, application timelines, and more.
